nikita grew up with strict parents and four brothers who were even more strict. being the youngest, she'd always been protected and sheltered but also always had the feeling her every move was being watched and judged. nonetheless she felt very loved her entire life.

she got her bachelors degree in english literature and wants to start working on getting her masters in journalism when she's in solara. her dream is to live her full sandra bullock in the proposal fantasy and be an editor.

romantically nikita doesn't have a preference, she doesn't like to label herself and believes that when something feels right, it's right. she doesn't have a lot of patience and gets bored easily,
so none of her relationships have ever been very successful in
the sense of lasting for longer than two months.

in platonic relationships nikita is the ride or die type, loyal to
the end and not afraid to show affection or go the extra mile for that person.

growing up in a strict household which very much was influenced by patriarchy, nikita struggled with her sexuality a lot. there was no room to explore, discover or experiment. sw gives her the feeling of owning her own sexuality and being in control of what she wants and likes. she also works in house of thalia as a bartender, to account for her income when her family asks about it.

nikita is first gen american. she was born into a family of hard workers, her parents owning a local chinese restaurant and little corner shop. she never questioned how her brothers wore the newest designer clothes or drove the newest, fastest cars while being nothing more but cooks and clerks. she only learned about the criminal activity two years ago, when she witnessed a confrontation between her brothers and their rivals.
